What is Junction Box in Dishwashers?
A junction Box is basically an insulating enclosure whose purpose is to protect the connection of multiple wires by not exposing them, thus providing a safety barrier.
It is one of the main electrical connection components of dishwashers, and the best place for its installation is in the adjacent cabinet (next to the cutout).

How to Install Bosch Dishwasher Junction Box Yourself
If your dishwasher is under warranty, the easiest solution would be to contact Bosch support and ask for advice. Unfortunately, opening your dishwasher will void its warranty in most cases, so leave it as a last option.
If you have little know-how of electrical things, then installing the Bosch dishwasher junction box yourself will be an easy task for you.
However, if you have never done any electrical work, we strongly recommend getting the Bosch junction box installed by an experienced electrician.
Installation Steps:
To properly install the junction box, carefully follow the steps below:
Step # 1: First of all, carefully un-screw the junction box screws and remove the cover. The junction box has places for 3 wires: L for Live, N for Neutral, and Earth. (Refer to picture below):
Step # 2: Insert the appropriate wire to its place in the junction box and properly tighten it.
That's it.
It is highly recommended to install the junction box inside the cabinet, and at a place that is not prone to getting moisture or water droplets to ensure the best safety because it the main part of bosch dishwasher electrical connection.
Please note that in case your Bosch dishwasher junction box is melted or any other issue, you may purchase the new junction box and install it by following the same aforementioned steps.
